Computer Equipment Training

Why do you need it?

Display Screen Equipment Regulations (reg 6 & 7) make provision for training. Regulation 5 makes provisions for an eye test to be provided for staff.

What if you don’t do it?

Compensation claims from employees are made easier by compensation injury lawyers acting on a no win no fee basis, and quite frankly many employers are not aware of the regulations and leave themselves open to an indefensible claim.

What do you need to do?

Get your staff on a training course, which we can do on-site, course format is:

·        A slideshow & video content presentation to include all aspects of safe computer use and workstation set up procedures.

·        A written test conducted in the form of multiple choice questions.

·        Retraining & retest is given if the pass mark is not achieved.

·        Upon completion a certificate of achievement will be issued.

·        The company will get a statement letter as proof of which staff attended training.

How much does it cost?

Our charges are based on a day rate, the training course lasts approximately half a day. Total charge is usually a full day rate to take into account travel time & issue of personalised printed materials.
